05/01/2010 - Edinburgh, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - David Obua's goal in the 89th minute helped Hearts to a 2-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road Stadium on Saturday, keeping alive their faint Europa League hopes while damaging those of their rivals.

Anthony Stokes had Hibs ahead in the 55th minute when he converted from the penalty spot, but after Suso Santana equalized 18 minutes from time, Obua tapped in a David Templeton cross to snatch all three points.

Hearts trails fourth-placed Motherwell by four points with two games to play, while Hibs remains one back in fifth place.

Marius Zaliukas gave away a penalty kick 10 minutes after the break when he tripped John Rankin on the edge of the area, and Stokes kept his nerve as he sent goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald the wrong way.

The visitors struggled to respond, but Suso was brought on in the 68th minute and he benefited from a scramble inside the box to fire home a loose ball four minutes after entering the match.

A number of cards followed as the match took on the look of a typical derby game, but Obua sent the home supporters home unhappy with his late goal that prevented Hibs from taking over fourth place.

Celtic had no real incentive to win their game with Motherwell, but the Hoops handed the visitors a 4-0 defeat, while champions Rangers beat Dundee United, 2-1.

St Mirren's Stephen O'Donnell scored in the 86th minute to hold Falkirk to a 1-1 draw and prevent the club from climbing off the bottom of the table, while Kilmarnock suffered a 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone that leaves them level on 29 points with Falkirk.

The other match on Saturday saw Aberdeen fall 3-1 to Hamilton as the Dons finished the match with nine men.

The addition of Chris Webber seems to have been a good move for the Pistons.  Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4.  Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1).  The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this.  No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
