St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues acquired forward Yan Stastny from Boston on Tuesday in exchange for their fifth-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old Stastny has collected a pair of assists in 21 games with Boston this season. Stastny made his NHL debut on March 1, 2006 as a member of the Oilers before Edmonton shipped him to Boston just over a week later.

Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Chris Kunitz scored twice on the power play and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 34 shots for his 22nd career shutout in Anaheim's 2-0 victory over the winless St. Louis Blues. The Ducks, unbeaten after three games, continued their best start in franchise history, also posting wins against Los Angeles and Phoenix.
